Client Relationship Manager, Retirement Services — Pennsylvania Remote

Manage relationships with financial advisors and retirement plan clients for Ascensus, a retirement savings technology and services provider. Support retention, issue resolution, relationship growth, and adoption of plan products.

  • Own relationships with existing large and elite advisor plan clients and their financial advisors
  • Manage plan-account and advisor relationships to support service quality, product enhancements, and client retention
  • Serve as a dedicated contact providing consultative guidance and support
  • Implement coordinated strategies for plan clients and financial professionals
  • Drive retention by taking ownership of troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Partner with sales, service, operations, and other Ascensus teams
  • Build trusted relationships with day-to-day client contacts and C-suite decision-makers
  • Represent client and financial professional needs within the organization
  • Assess the current book of business for retention opportunities and develop strategies for non-elite advisors
  • Create account-specific education and communication plans
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and educate advisors and plan sponsors on products, processes, and services
  • Gather data, monitor communications and escalations, and recommend ways to improve the Ascensus client experience
  • Lead or contribute to projects that add value to existing client relationships
  • Evaluate client and advisor data and conduct outreach, including call campaigns
  • Maintain working knowledge of partner and proprietary Ascensus products
  • Stay current on the regulatory, financial, accounting, service, operational, and compliance elements of relationship management

आवश्यकताएँ

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Preferred: at least seven years of experience in retirement services or a related industry
  • At least five years of experience managing direct client relationships in a financial services administration environment
  • Preferred: industry certification or progress toward certification through programs such as ASPPA or CEBS
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Comfort operating with substantial autonomy
  • Careful, detail-focused approach with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Sound business judgment when balancing client priorities with organizational needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to groups
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to organize and facilitate meetings with senior-level participants
  • Demonstrated project management capability
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to safeguard, secure, and appropriately manage confidential information
