Contact blood donors and schedule donation appointments for the American Red Cross. The hybrid role is based near Tucson, with initial training at the Tucson Call Center.

- Call prospective blood donors through a dialer system to encourage donation.
- Use several computer systems at once to select suitable blood drives, update donor records, and log call results.
- Schedule appointments and deliver helpful service to support donor attendance.
- Follow call procedures and scripts to provide a consistent donor experience.
- Meet daily targets for calls and appointments per hour.
- Learn donor eligibility criteria and explain them to help reduce deferrals.
- Keep accurate records of donors and groups contacted and appointments scheduled.
- Identify new leads and support donor recruitment programs as needed.
- Answer incoming calls or route them to the appropriate person.
- Coordinate support for community and business donor groups as needed.
- Handle other related duties as assigned.

- Live in or near Tucson, Arizona.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of related experience in telemarketing, customer service, or a call center.
- Commit to 90 days of uninterrupted employment with full attendance.
- Commit to one of the listed work schedules.
- Able to use multiple computer applications at once in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and effective verbal communication.
- Able to work with potentially difficult customers in a fast-paced call center.
- Prior sales or negotiation experience is a plus.
- Interest in advocating for blood donation, learning about it, and promoting it.
- Former employees or contractors must be eligible for rehire.
- Education and general experience may be combined to meet the stated education and experience requirements when the total years qualify.
