Opis

  • Handle and route incoming calls to the appropriate team members.
  • Take and relay messages or direct callers to voicemail when staff are unavailable.
  • Record calls and upload documents to the online document management system.
  • Handle clerical tasks such as faxing, copying, and organizing files.
  • Keep in regular contact with clients and answer their questions.
  • Gather insurance coverage information promptly.
  • Follow up on medical treatment and check that care continues without interruption.
  • Request medical records and billing statements from providers.
  • Contact insurers about clients’ treatment status.
  • Keep adjuster details up to date in the system.
  • Take on other administrative and case-related tasks as assigned.
  • Help The Ward Law Group, a personal injury law firm, guide injured clients through their cases.

Zahteve

  • Communicate fluently in English and Spanish, both in writing and conversation.
  • Have experience in plaintiff personal injury law, a medical office or healthcare scheduling, legal intake or case support, a high-volume inbound call center, or virtual assistance for U.S. businesses.
  • Have used a CRM or case management platform such as Litify, Filevine, SmartAdvocate, or Clio.
  • Be available to work 40 hours per week.
  • Be able to work a schedule that may include one weekend day, depending on business needs.
  • Engage as an independent contractor.
  • Provide your own equipment, software, internet connection, and workspace.
  • Use a computer that meets these minimum specifications: Windows 11 with an Intel i5 8th generation or newer processor or equivalent, 16 GB RAM, and 256 GB SSD; or macOS 14 Sonoma or newer with Apple Silicon or Intel i5, 16 GB RAM, and 256 GB SSD.
  • Keep the device for your exclusive use.
  • Have a private, password-protected internet connection with at least 30 Mbps download, 15 Mbps upload, and latency below 100 ms.
  • Use a USB noise-cancelling headset with a microphone.
  • Have a webcam capable of clear video.
  • Enable full-disk encryption, automatic security updates, a screen lock after no more than 10 minutes of inactivity, and active endpoint protection software.
  • Store applicant data only in firm-designated systems.
  • Be legally able to work as an independent contractor in Colombia.
