Translate marketing, user interface, help, and regulated content for Welocalize while using CAT tools and following client quality, productivity, and delivery standards.

- Translate assigned client content using designated translation tools and workflows
- Translate marketing, help, user interface, and regulated materials
- Provide copy-editing support for selected content types
- Develop proficiency with standard CAT tools and other internal translation applications
- Follow established translation procedures and raise questions when clarification is needed
- Apply relevant style guides and client requirements consistently
- Incorporate feedback from senior colleagues and client reviewers to improve translation quality
- Monitor personal error statistics and address recurring weaknesses
- Attend training sessions organized internally and by clients
- Contribute to the error arbitration process
- Achieve productivity, on-time delivery, and quality performance targets
- Take part in internal quality meetings and client quality calls
- Assess skill gaps and seek appropriate support from senior team members
- Deliver the objectives established by the team manager
Талаптар
- University degree in translation, applied languages, linguistic studies, or a comparable combination of education and experience
- A degree in another discipline with two years of full-time translation experience, or five years of full-time professional translation experience
- Native-level fluency in the target language
- Strong written and spoken English proficiency
- Two to four years of experience in translation, localization, editing, or content writing
- Working knowledge of localization processes
- Comfortable using standard software, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications
- Practical experience with standard CAT tools such as XTM and SDL Studio
- Experience using issue-tracking and query-management tools such as JIRA
- Ability to learn new localization tools and applications quickly
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
- Ability to present information clearly and answer questions from managers, clients, customers, and linguists
- Ability to solve practical problems and manage varied concrete situations
- Ability to collaborate within a virtual team
- Quick to learn, motivated, and adaptable
