Application Support Analyst at Paysend, Hybrid in Serbia
Monitor transactions, incidents, releases, and system health across Paysend’s global payment infrastructure. Help maintain reliable money movement for B2C and Enterprise payment products.

- Analyze and manage end-to-end payment transaction flows with Oracle SQL, Postman, and OpenSearch
- Maintain critical payment services and monitor system health with Grafana and related tools
- Track SLA deadlines and support incident response activities
- Identify root causes, prepare incident reports, and coordinate teams through resolution
- Resolve manually flagged transactions and investigate payouts or funding pending for more than three days
- Update transaction statuses or escalate unresolved issues when appropriate
- Work with partners and banks to resolve processing problems, file-loading discrepancies, and reporting corrections
- Troubleshoot SAR reconciliation problems, including unmatched transactions, missing or duplicate report data, and platform mismatches
- Coordinate, perform, and roll back service releases
- Confirm system health and performance metrics after releases

- Approach unfamiliar problems analytically and determine next steps independently
- Hands-on experience querying data with SQL
- Use Postman to interpret API documentation and troubleshoot partner integrations
- Basic experience with Linux, networking, or cloud administration
- Manage multiple time-sensitive incidents within strict SLA requirements
- Work directly with external organizations, including banks, PSPs, and processors
- Collaborate with Engineering, Settlement, and Customer Support teams
- Use a programming language at a basic level to read code, run scripts, or inspect data payloads
- Communicate fluently in written and spoken English
- Practical experience using OpenSearch for log and transaction analysis is an advantage
- Experience with Slack, Google Workspace, Jira, and Confluence is an advantage
- Knowledge of financial workflows, payment lifecycles, and fintech terminology is an advantage
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related operational discipline is an advantage
