Remote Key Account Manager – United States
Lead biosimilar adoption across NHS secondary care through account planning and specialist stakeholder engagement. Build relationships and influence prescribing decisions across therapeutic areas.

- Manage secondary care accounts, create growth plans and uncover opportunities
- Build trusted relationships with clinical, pharmacy, procurement and medicines optimisation stakeholders
- Encourage adoption of the client’s biosimilar portfolio through customer-focused discussions
- Deliver digital and telephone details, plus remote meetings with healthcare professionals
- Map accounts to understand prescribing pathways, decision processes and stakeholder networks
- Identify the influencers and decision-makers who can shape prescribing change
- Adapt customer engagement, channels and communication to each account
- Build advocacy and influence across assigned accounts
- Explain product and therapeutic-area value propositions
- Work with KAM, Medical, Marketing, Market Access and Compliance teams
- Run the territory independently and prioritise opportunities across a varied account base

- Prior pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in biosimilars or immunology
- Background in specialist secondary care sales
- Strong key account management and stakeholder-mapping capabilities
- Experience with e-detailing and remote customer engagement
- Strong knowledge of the NHS, including prescribing pathways, local decision-making and changes in the healthcare landscape
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities
- A driven, resilient and ambitious approach
- Excellent planning and organisation
- Ability to handle multiple accounts and competing priorities
- Self-motivation and discipline to work independently and succeed remotely
- High standards of integrity and professionalism
- Strong commitment to ethical practice
- Existing relationships with procurement pharmacists, high-cost drug pharmacists, medicines optimisation teams and relevant clinical specialists are an advantage
