Technical Support Analyst - Tecsys Remote Canada

Technical Support Analyst resolving SQL, Java, and integration incidents for Tecsys cloud software. Support hospitals, pharmacies, and distributors through troubleshooting and internal collaboration.

Description

  • Manage and prioritize multiple tickets in the ServiceNow queue.
  • Investigate simple to moderately complex issues affecting Tecsys Elite applications and integrations through log analysis, research, and reproduction.
  • Use SQL queries and interpret Java code and stack traces to determine root causes.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, assess business impact, and provide updates through resolution.
  • Recommend workarounds or alternative solutions when permanent fixes will take longer.
  • Escalate tickets and work with EBS, Cloud Operations, and BI teams on infrastructure, custom code, or system-related issues.
  • Record solutions in the knowledge base and fulfill service-level agreement commitments.

Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Approximately three years of experience in technical support, help desk, or customer support; recent graduates with internship or co-op experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Advanced SQL ability, with the capacity to interpret Java code, logs, and stack traces.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong listening ability and skill in explaining technical issues clearly.
  • Logical problem-solving skills and the composure to manage multiple tickets under pressure.
  • Availability for an evening schedule from 4:00 p.m. to midnight ET or 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. ET, or a weekend-focused schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET on weekends plus two weekdays.
