Senior Process Re-engineering Manager, Technology and AI Operating Model, Krakow

State Street is seeking a Vice President to lead process re-engineering and AI-enabled operating model transformation in Krakow. The role focuses on improving efficiency, service delivery, adoption, and client outcomes.

Description

  • Lead process re-engineering and operating model improvement initiatives within large-scale transformation programs
  • Convert strategic objectives into delivery plans using agentic AI, automation, data, and digital capabilities
  • Identify inefficiencies, risks, and optimization opportunities across end-to-end processes
  • Deliver measurable gains in productivity, cost efficiency, and service quality
  • Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
  • Help design and implement target operating models, including processes, roles, responsibilities, and workflows
  • Maintain current-state and future-state documentation covering process flows, handoffs, controls, and human-technology interactions
  • Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional Business, Risk, and Technology stakeholders
  • Help prioritize high-value transformation and AI-enabled use cases
  • Support process-change implementation, adoption, change management, communications, training, and rollout
  • Track adoption and performance metrics and monitor realized benefits
  • Perform end-to-end process assessments and qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Create process documentation, scorecards, and KPIs
  • Support the integration of automation and AI capabilities into operational processes
  • Evaluate how technology and AI affect workflows, roles, and operating structures
  • Maintain alignment with governance, risk, and control requirements
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and redesign processes instead of automating existing inefficiencies

Requirements

  • At least 7–10 years of experience in process design and/or operating model transformation within a complex global organization
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in agile or product-centric environments
  • Proven delivery experience across process improvement, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of operating model design, process optimization, and continuous improvement methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, and BPMN
  • Ability to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of operational process data
  • Experience with performance measurement and developing business insights
  • Exposure to technology- or AI-enabled transformation initiatives is preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority
