Remote Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Florida)

Description

  • Lead recruiting from intake through hiring across departments and seniority levels.
  • Develop sourcing strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and refine hiring workflows.
  • Meet with hiring managers to define role needs.
  • Prepare role-aligned interview questions and panel guides that meet compliance requirements.
  • Keep candidates informed with timely, transparent communication throughout interviews.
  • Arrange and take part in interviews, both virtual and in person.
  • Find active and passive candidates through social media, professional networks, job boards, educational institutions, and community partners.
  • Work with the Senior Certification Specialist to assess candidate eligibility and meet licensure rules.
  • Contribute to internship programs and other talent pipeline initiatives.
  • Use the applicant tracking system to publish openings, manage candidate progress, send updates, and record hiring activity.
  • Review and process applications, verify employment and education, and upload required records.
  • Represent HR in panel interviews and ensure panels follow their guides.
  • Help maintain recruitment policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
  • Work with Compensation to analyze pay for instructional and support positions.
  • Put candidate screening and interview processes into practice.
  • Represent the employer at career fairs, networking events, and professional association activities.
  • Advise hiring managers on recruitment, candidate assessment, and pay recommendations.
  • Help staff develop career goals and improve their resumes.
  • Create and sustain candidate pipelines.
  • Contribute to Talent Acquisition projects and presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business, public administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Three years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in education, the public sector, or high-volume hiring.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems such as Workday and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or equivalent tools.
  • Ability to manage more than 12 open roles at once across multiple teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with candidates and internal partners.
  • Knowledge of HR administration principles and methods related to recruitment.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and school district recruitment laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise, complete analyses, proposals, reports, and other written materials.
  • Ability to assess complex administrative and technical issues and recommend appropriate action.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects under deadline pressure.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, training, and conferences, including trips that may require overnight stays.
