Remote Customer Service Representative – Accredo | The Cigna Group

Work remotely with Accredo specialty pharmacy patients by managing high-volume calls, recording interactions, and helping people access essential therapies.

Description

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume contact center
  • Use established workflows and adhere to scheduled call-handling requirements
  • Resolve patient concerns empathetically and within defined procedures
  • Record interactions promptly while protecting patient confidentiality and following HIPAA requirements
  • Complete and actively participate in paid virtual training
  • Achieve monthly performance targets
  • Pursue ongoing learning and respond constructively to feedback
  • Manage consecutive calls throughout the scheduled shift
  • Help specialty pharmacy patients access needed therapies

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • No prior experience is required, although healthcare customer service call center experience is strongly preferred
  • Perform effectively in a highly structured, high-volume setting
  • Apply strong problem-solving and real-time judgment skills
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in writing and conversation
  • Use Microsoft Office proficiently
  • Navigate multiple systems simultaneously
  • Commit to attending all training sessions
  • Maintain reliable attendance during the first 90 days
  • Provide a distraction-free workspace at home
  • Use a wired Ethernet connection directly from the modem to the company-provided computer; Wi-Fi, mobile, and hotspot connections are not accepted
  • Have cable broadband or fiber internet with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
  • Be able to work from Texas, North Carolina, Indiana, South Carolina, Arizona, Pennsylvania, or Georgia
