Description

  • Oversee policy enforcement operations, reporting, and updates to policies, taxonomies, and workflows.
  • Guide seller-facing enforcement communications so they are clear, educational, and consistent.
  • Promote fair enforcement decisions and help sellers understand policy expectations.
  • Find gaps in policy application and create guidance for ambiguous cases.
  • Develop decision-making frameworks for consistent enforcement by specialists.
  • Lead priority appeals, seller escalations, and customer concerns.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Communications, and Brand, and take on-call rotations for critical events.
  • Share operational feedback with Policy, Product, and Engineering to shape roadmaps, policy updates, and tools.
  • Track emerging abuse patterns through data analysis, post-mortems, and in-depth reviews.
  • Turn analytical findings into practical recommendations.
  • Mentor Enforcement Specialists on ambiguous cases, complex decisions, and career development.
  • Lead strategic Operations priorities focused on seller experience, communications, and enforcement consistency, with involvement in quality assurance, training, and process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bring at least five years of experience in Trust and Safety, policy enforcement, compliance, or risk at a technology or marketplace company.
  • Have experience leading seller- or user-facing programs and explaining complex decisions clearly.
  • Show a track record of building scalable enforcement frameworks and improving operational consistency and quality.
  • Manage cross-functional projects and partner effectively with Policy, Legal, Product, and Communications.
  • Exercise sound judgment in ambiguous, fast-moving situations involving consequential decisions.
  • Communicate, influence, and build relationships across global and distributed teams.
  • Use SQL or another data-querying tool proficiently.
  • Have experience with Trust and Safety tools and platforms.
  • Understand marketplace or platform compliance and relevant legal or regulatory obligations.
