Infrastructure Services Engineer at Genpact

Support Genpact’s enterprise technology operations through hybrid infrastructure assistance, incident management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and backup activities.

Description

  • Act as the first contact for customers and users requesting technical support by phone or email.
  • Log, acknowledge, monitor, escalate, and resolve incidents and service requests within assigned timelines.
  • Maintain accurate ticket updates through resolution and keep end users or clients informed of progress.
  • Carry out basic monitoring and troubleshooting with Control-M, NetBackup, OBM, Mail Sweeper, Discovery Accelerator, HPE3PAR, NASTEL MQ Series, BlackBerry, V-Sphere, Active Directory, and SEP.
  • Complete morning report checks and distribute the results.
  • Perform tape rotation and restoration tasks in line with established procedures.
  • Address business needs while expanding technology and domain expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Database Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
  • English proficiency at the C2 level is required.
  • Proficiency in Agile Methodology, Apple Mac OS, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cloud Assessment, Cloud Strategies, Collaboration Tools, Design Thinking, Executive Presence, IBM AIX, IBM Rational ClearCase, Microsoft Azure Advanced Threat Protection, Oracle WebLogic, Storytelling, and related skills.
  • Availability to work rotational shifts.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and domain concepts.
  • Knowledge of OBM and METIS/ServiceNow for managing incidents, changes, requests, and problems.
  • Additional infrastructure knowledge in Unix or Windows patching, SimpliVity, network topology, SQL, Oracle or Sybase databases, SAN or NAS storage, StoreOnce, and NetBackup is advantageous.
  • Blockchain Technology & Management certification is listed.
