German-Speaking Customer Service Freelancer – Remote
Provide freelance customer service in German for TRETMANN’s innovative sports equipment. Handle written support through Amazon and email, along with incoming calls, from a remote location.
Description
- Handle customer questions through email and Amazon
- Oversee Amazon support workflows, including Buyer-Seller Messaging, A-to-z Claims, and returns
- Take incoming calls and explain product information to customers
- Work closely with logistics and returns teams
- Maintain accurate ticket records and document customer inquiries
- Suggest practical improvements to customer service operations
- Help customers use rowing machines, pedal exercisers, and other sports equipment
Requirements
- Native or near-native German proficiency in written and spoken communication
- Background in written customer communication
- Confidence and accuracy when composing customer messages
- Previous experience delivering customer support through Amazon
- Working knowledge of Seller Central, Buyer-Seller Messaging, A-to-z Claims, and returns handling
- Experience providing support by telephone
- Patient, approachable communication style when handling stressful situations
- Previous experience working remotely
- Ability to organize daily responsibilities independently and communicate proactively
- Personal laptop, USB headset, reliable internet connection, and a quiet space for calls
- Availability for 40 hours per week from October through March and 20–40 hours per week during summer, by agreement
- Basic technical knowledge of sports equipment is an advantage
