FinTech Partner Account Specialist (Remote, United States)

Support MVB’s fintech partners across payment and gaming programs through operational assistance, reporting, due diligence, and relationship management. Coordinate partner requests, service updates, issue resolution, and ongoing account activities.

Description

  • Provide first-level operational and product support for MVB’s fintech partnerships
  • Collect and share program information with internal teams
  • Organize documentation and compile data for reporting
  • Deliver customer service and advocate for partners
  • Support and qualify opportunities with existing fintech partners
  • Collaborate with Senior Relationship Managers and internal teams to strengthen partner relationships
  • Investigate and resolve moderately complex issues
  • Respond to partner requests, provide status updates, answer service and product questions, and communicate promptly
  • Build productive relationships with key stakeholders and internal colleagues
  • Track and report on internal and partner service-level agreements
  • Coordinate partner information collection for due diligence and risk reviews, including follow-up activities
  • Manage daily partner interactions, follow-ups, reminders, communications, collateral checks, escalations, complaints, profile updates, card-related requests, and quarterly review data
  • Keep partner files and records accurate across box.com, Quickbase, SharePoint, network folders, and CRM systems
  • Address partner requests, changes, and problems promptly
  • Maintain clear communication throughout the partner lifecycle
  • Work with other MVB business lines to support partner initiatives
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • At least three years of customer support experience in financial services, payment cards, or fintech
  • Self-directed approach with demonstrated organizational, conceptual, and logical problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused professional who can build effective working relationships across staff and management levels
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage customer expectations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to apply technical information to business solutions
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of card payment disputes and related regulations is strongly preferred; candidates must reside in an eligible listed state or Washington, D.C.
