EY Supervising Associate, Talent Consultant – Gurgaon (Onsite)

EY is seeking a Talent Consultant in Gurgaon to support employee engagement, employee relations, workforce planning, and talent programs. The role partners with business leaders on people decisions, change adoption, and development initiatives.

Description

  • Help the Strategic Talent Consultant build and deliver a scalable engagement framework
  • Partner with business leaders and counselors to put engagement initiatives into practice
  • Identify emerging business-unit needs and respond to related issues
  • Advise on people matters, particularly employee-relations cases, and explain their impact on business decisions
  • Deliver people-management and development activities for the business unit
  • Implement innovative human resources programs
  • Resolve HR issues within agreed timelines, engaging the Employee Relations Talent function when appropriate
  • Guide change and encourage adoption of Performance Management, Talent Transformation, Talent Development, and Reward initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with local regulations and oversee people-related risks
  • Advance the engagement agenda, workforce capability, and talent management strategy
  • Lead HR initiatives covering Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Talent Transformation, Talent Development, and Reward & Recognition

Requirements

  • A graduate or postgraduate qualification in business or human resources is desirable
  • Six to eight years of HR generalist experience, including performance management and employee relations
  • Practical experience delivering or managing talent initiatives
  • Experience in consulting or a comparable professional-services environment is desirable
  • Experience working across borders in a virtual environment would be beneficial
  • Sound business judgment and commercial awareness
  • Ability to create clear, practical plans aligned with a business-unit strategy
  • Ability to engage and influence others, supported by effective change-management skills
  • Strong client orientation and stakeholder relationship-building capability
  • Extensive experience managing complex disciplinary, grievance, and performance cases, particularly involving senior leaders
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and build agreement among diverse, frequently global teams
  • Willingness to pursue self-directed learning and cross-functional HR work
  • Collaborative, proactive, independent, curious, and creative working style
