Customer Account Representative — ASSA ABLOY, Rochester
Support customers of ASSA ABLOY Fenestration’s window and door hardware business by managing orders, inquiries, shipping, quality issues, and account relationships.
विवरण
- Build and strengthen relationships with key business accounts
- Act as the primary contact for pricing, product questions, order status, shipping discrepancies, and general inquiries
- Accurately enter customer orders using product details and stocking locations
- Respond to customer questions about orders, products, and pricing by email and phone
- Expedite orders and coordinate internally to support product availability and on-time shipment
- Process debits and credits based on customer feedback, and follow up on Return Goods Authorizations
- Record quality issues
- Coordinate with Billing, Credit, Shipping, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and other teams to address customer needs
- Work with sales representatives as a Fenestration Solutions Expert
- Set up item numbers and customer cross-references in coordination with Engineering and other teams
- Keep customer profiles accurate and current
- Coordinate with customers and freight forwarders on international shipping, commercial invoices, Incoterms, payments, order processing, and shipments
- Prepare useful reports for customers and corporate management
आवश्यकताएँ
- High school diploma
- Two to five years of customer service, account management, or order management experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving ability
- Proficiency with ERP and customer order management systems; IFS experience preferred
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and other internal teams
- Resourcefulness and adaptability when priorities change or customer and order issues arise
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Dependability, accountability, and flexibility to support business and team coverage needs
- Knowledge of international shipping requirements, including commercial invoices and Incoterms
