Dutch-Speaking Customer Support Specialist (Remote, Portugal)
Support users of a global online payment platform in Dutch, handling payment questions, collections, assistance for vulnerable customers, and account administration remotely from Portugal.
Tavsif
- Help customers with account funding, transaction histories, product information, and protection policies
- Respond to incoming and outgoing customer inquiries
- Negotiate payment plans with customers
- Address questions related to collections
- Obtain customers’ commitments to pay
- Support customers in vulnerable circumstances
- Provide assistance with insolvency matters
- Refer accounts to specialist teams when appropriate
- Keep detailed notes on customer accounts
- Arrange customer call-backs
- Work efficiently across multiple contact queues
- Deliver customer support and payment solutions to international customers by phone and in writing
Talablar
- Have native or fluent Dutch proficiency (C1/C2)
- Have strong business English proficiency (B2+)
- Live in Portugal or be willing to relocate there with company support
- Preferably have 1–2 years of experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, fintech, or call center work
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills
- Use active listening skills
- Manage priorities effectively
- Solve problems independently
- Be proficient in MS Office
- Be comfortable using PC-based internet applications and multi-queue communication systems
- Submit a CV in English
Imtiyozlar
- Receive a €2,000 welcome bonus, paid as €166.66 per month during the first year
- Receive a meal allowance of €7.63 net per working day, approximately €160 or more in additional tax-free pay each month
