Part-Time Call Center Agent I – American Red Cross, Tucson
Contact donors and schedule blood donations in this part-time American Red Cross call center role. Based near Tucson, the position includes initial training at the Tucson Call Center and a hybrid work arrangement.
Descriere
- Recruit blood donors by phone using a dialer system.
- Use computer systems to select suitable blood drives, update donor records, and log call outcomes.
- Book appointments and deliver helpful service that encourages donors to attend.
- Follow established call procedures and scripts to provide a consistent donor experience.
- Meet daily targets for calls and appointments per hour.
- Learn donor eligibility criteria to answer questions and help reduce deferrals.
- Keep accurate records of contacted donors and groups, along with scheduled appointments.
- Identify new leads and carry out donor recruitment programs as needed.
- Handle incoming calls or transfer them to the appropriate contact.
- Arrange support for community and business donor groups as needed.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
Cerințe
- High school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED.
- At least one year of related experience in telemarketing, customer service, or a call center.
- Ability to commit to 90 days of uninterrupted employment with full attendance.
- Ability to commit to one of the specified schedules.
- Proficiency using multiple computer applications at the same time in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with potentially difficult customers in a fast-paced call center.
- Former employees or contractors must be eligible for rehire.
- Previous sales or negotiation experience is preferred.
- Interest in advocating for blood donation and learning more about it.
