Employee Relations and Threat Investigator - Manufacturing

Descriere

  • Investigate threats and assault allegations across manufacturing and parts distribution operations.
  • Examine workplace complaints involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other company policy violations.
  • Use sound judgment to recommend appropriate investigation outcomes.
  • Assess behavior for signs of concern or potential escalation.
  • Coordinate case handling and resolution with Human Resources, Labor Relations, and Security.
  • Collaborate with company functions, operating committee members, the Office of the General Counsel, and external counsel.
  • Create, monitor, and maintain investigation records.
  • Plan and execute investigation strategies.
  • Pursue timely resolution of outstanding cases and concerns.
  • Protect the confidentiality of employee information and statements.
  • Write clear, concise investigation reports.
  • Work across functions on investigations, discipline, performance management, and employee relations matters.
  • Promote ethical, compliant, and safe conduct consistent with company policies and government regulations.
  • Provide investigations support for grievances, arbitration, and litigation.
  • Review case activity to identify trends and recommend proactive measures.
  • Help build an effective, inclusive workplace while balancing employee advocacy with company priorities and values.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least three years of experience in investigations, corporate security, human resources investigations, or law enforcement.
  • Strong skills in objective interviewing, crisis de-escalation, emotional intelligence, threat assessment, detailed report writing, and documentation.
  • Experience in manufacturing or a complex, multi-site environment with a unionized workforce is preferred.
  • Experience investigating threats and assaults is preferred.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment is preferred.
  • A master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Certification or training in behavioral threat assessment or investigations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, integrity, interpersonal ability, team-building skills, and strong spoken and written communication.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Visa sponsorship is unavailable.
