Descriere

  • Create applications and enhance existing software to meet internal and client needs.
  • Write application code and maintain databases.
  • Review and modify software to improve functionality, resolve issues, and support new hardware platforms.
  • Adapt applications to improve performance.
  • Determine clients’ application needs and preferences.
  • Thoroughly test applications for errors and bugs.
  • Install applications and provide technical guidance.
  • Discuss project constraints, performance needs, and interfaces with internal technical stakeholders.
  • Work with clients during design to establish their needs.
  • Prepare software documentation using company processes and templates.
  • Take part in software product reviews and team meetings.
  • Complete other related duties as needed.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong grounding in computer science, programming, application design, and user-focused features.
  • Advanced proficiency in Java and a standard object library.
  • In-depth knowledge of the software development process.
  • Strong proficiency in Agile methods such as Scrum.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development environments.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Perl, Python, and C++.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to understand and analyze complex systems.
  • Ability to handle client and customer issues tactfully and professionally.
  • Substantial experience in software applications engineering, software development, or a related area.
  • Substantial experience with programming languages including C, C++, Java, and Python.
  • Substantial experience with Linux or Unix and Windows operating systems.
  • Substantial experience working with SQL.
  • Substantial project management experience and/or experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Programming language certification preferred.
  • Scrum or project management certification preferred.
