IT Field Service Technician

Provide onsite IT support for office users, resolving hardware, software, network, and workplace incidents. Handle equipment setup, relocations, and technology rollouts in Berlin.

Descriere

  • Act as the first point of contact for colleagues, resolving first-line and occasional second-line incidents.
  • Help users troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Record support work and outcomes in Jira.
  • Investigate and resolve issues affecting client devices, networks, and workplace systems.
  • Set up, configure, and replace laptops, desktop PCs, printers, monitors, docking stations, and presentation equipment.
  • Manage workplace moves and hardware and software deployments, including refreshes, software distribution, and device imaging.
  • Assist with network support tasks.
  • Arrange support from external service providers when needed.
  • Coordinate day-to-day work with IT colleagues.
  • Follow applicable security and regulatory standards.
  • Take part in the daily IT service rotation.

Cerințe

  • Completed IT training, for example as an IT specialist in system integration, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience in onsite IT or field service is welcome.
  • Sound knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
  • Some server administration experience is desirable.
  • Experience supporting clients, diagnosing hardware faults, and replacing and setting up IT equipment.
  • Confidence using ticketing platforms such as Jira and remote support tools.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
  • Some experience with PowerShell, Wireshark, or the OSI model is desirable.
  • Class B driving licence.
  • Availability for occasional work at additional locations.
  • A strong focus on service and practical solutions.
  • An independent, organized, and dependable approach to work.
  • Excellent communication, a friendly manner, and resilience.
  • Very good written and spoken German at C1 level.
  • Interest in emerging IT technologies and ongoing professional growth.
  • Willingness to complete a security clearance check during hiring.
