Bilingual Case Manager, Fixed-Term Remote Canada

Descriere

  • Oversee patient enrollment, reimbursement workflows, and related service coordination
  • Help physicians and patients navigate drug coverage options
  • Track submissions to private and provincial drug plans
  • Facilitate timely access to prescribed therapies
  • Provide ongoing assistance throughout the patient support journey
  • Register patients in the Patient Support Program
  • Coordinate reimbursement documentation with patients, insurers, and physicians
  • Research public and private insurers and assist with employer escalations
  • Review patient records, prior therapies, and test results to support coverage documentation for physicians
  • Explain therapy guidelines and educate stakeholders about program processes
  • Assess patients’ financial eligibility
  • Coordinate and monitor the delivery of patient services
  • Document Adverse Events and Severe Adverse Events in line with approved SOPs
  • Meet case-management service standards and program KPIs
  • Keep patient and clinic records current in the CRM
  • Work closely with internal patient support teams
  • Partner with the Program Manager and provide relevant feedback
  • Recognize coverage barriers and escalate them to program leadership
  • Submit timesheets, expense and mileage claims, and CRM reports
  • Complete other responsibilities assigned by the Manager

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two to three years of experience in a Patient Support Program
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Experience with reimbursement billing, special access programs, appeals, and field-based reimbursement support or consultation is an asset
  • Knowledge of private and public reimbursement structures, systems, and processes is an asset
  • Rare disease experience is an asset
  • Advanced understanding of the pharmaceutical distribution industry
  • Ability to work remotely from a quiet, private home office
  • Strong analytical ability, including interpreting regulations and legislation
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong typing ability and proficiency with varied computer applications
  • Exceptional organization and ability to build productive working relationships
