Technical Account Manager / Customer Solutions Architect – Denver Hybrid
Own post-sales technical relationships with enterprise customers across North America, guiding API, event-streaming, and AI-agent infrastructure from implementation through long-term adoption.
Description
- Own technical relationships for a tiered portfolio of enterprise accounts across North America
- Guide new customers from contract signature to production within six months through architecture advice, best practices, and use-case planning
- Partner with onboarding managers, field engineering, professional services, and delivery partners
- Prioritize portfolio needs and direct work to the appropriate internal team
- Lead QBRs, release briefings, and technical roadmaps
- Advance customer value realization against business objectives and ROI targets
- Monitor expansion, adoption, and usage indicators while supporting retention
- Bring customer feedback to Product and Engineering through the feature-request process
- Create demonstrations, reusable technical resources, architecture designs, best practices, and enablement materials
- Ensure customer engagements consistently reflect Gravitee’s core values
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing technical position at a SaaS or infrastructure provider, such as Technical Account Manager, post-sales Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, or Professional Services
- Strong understanding of vendor-led value realization, adoption, retention, and expansion motions
- Demonstrated success managing a portfolio of enterprise customers
- Deep technical knowledge of APIs, integrations, and cloud-native platforms
- Hands-on implementation experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of API security and identity protocols, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and SSO
- Excellent communication skills with engineers, architects, and executive stakeholders
- Ability to assess customer architectures, link technical needs to business outcomes, and recommend scalable solutions and best practices
- Ability to define engagement scope, control scope changes, and escalate issues appropriately
- Willingness to visit customer sites approximately one to two times per month when needed
- Kafka or event-streaming experience is preferred
- Familiarity with LLM gateways, MCP, A2A, agent identity, or agent authorization patterns is preferred
- Scripting or software development experience, particularly in Java or Python, is preferred
- Experience with API management, API gateways, or developer platforms is preferred
- Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is preferred
- Strong commitment to quality, clarity, and measurable impact
- Curiosity, adaptability, and interest in emerging technologies such as AI
