Senior Tech Team Lead at Indy — Lyon Hybrid

Lead squads building Indy’s application for business creation and accounting automation for independent professionals. Combine people leadership, delivery ownership, and hands-on technical contribution.

Description

  • Own delivery for the squad while contributing directly to its work
  • Guide the squad’s technical direction, reasoning, and decisions
  • Strengthen engineering practices across Clean Code, architecture, testing, DevOps, and monitoring
  • Maintain strong team performance and a healthy, positive work environment
  • Help each team member develop and progress
  • Set individual goals and lead performance reviews
  • Share the company’s strategy and key decisions with the team
  • Drive successful individual and collective delivery, including outputs, quality standards, and initiatives
  • Set priorities, goals, and the roadmap in partnership with the Product Manager
  • Contribute across product design, software development, and operations
  • Enhance the user experience, simplify user journeys, and deliver new features

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent, representing at least five years of higher education
  • Experience leading teams with a servant-leadership approach
  • Background in a customer-focused organization
  • Ability to build squad capabilities at both individual and group level
  • Ability to give clear, constructive, and encouraging feedback
  • Experience handling HR activities such as one-to-ones, hiring, and leave management
  • Working knowledge of architecture, testing, DevOps, or monitoring
  • Experience supporting delivery and reviewing code
  • Knowledge of Node.js with Express and Fastify, Vue.js, MongoDB, JavaScript/TypeScript, Heroku, AWS, GitHub Actions/CI, and Python
  • Familiarity with Storybook and a Vue.js component library
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion
