Field Sales Representative II, IP&E

Develop electronics accounts across New Jersey by selling Arrow’s component, supply chain, and lifecycle solutions. Manage account plans, customer reviews, supplier relationships, and regular territory travel.

Description

  • Identify priority markets and prospective customers across the assigned territory.
  • Set sales strategies, build customer relationships, and pursue solution sales.
  • Develop and maintain customer contacts to uncover design opportunities.
  • Resolve business challenges and support customer satisfaction with supply chain management and value-added services.
  • Create strategic plans for assigned accounts.
  • Market and sell Arrow’s complete portfolio and key supplier product lines.
  • Prepare detailed internal quarterly business reviews (iQBRs).
  • Present account strategies and execution plans to increase sales, generate demand, and improve customer service.
  • Lead recurring quarterly business reviews with major customers to identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Promote and sell Arrow’s value-added, supply chain, and lifecycle programs.
  • Work with sales tracking tools, Salesforce.com, and Oracle.
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bring in-depth knowledge of the electronic components industry.
  • Understand the assigned market and territory, including its customers and competitors.
  • Have recent experience in IP&E or interconnect, passive, and electromechanical components.
  • Be able to sell Arrow’s value-added, supply chain, and full lifecycle programs.
  • Be able to create strategic plans for assigned accounts and market Arrow’s complete offering.
  • Know Arrow’s key supplier product lines in depth.
  • Have experience working with contract manufacturers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to explain complex strategies and put them into practice.
  • Understand pricing programs and models used in the electronics industry.
  • Have experience working with vendors and customers in technical and engineering settings.
  • Be able to prepare thorough internal quarterly business reviews (iQBRs) and lead regular reviews with major customers.
  • Be proficient with sales tracking systems, Salesforce.com, and Oracle.
  • Bring enthusiasm and a resilient, can-do attitude.
  • Typically hold a four-year degree and have at least five years of related experience, an advanced degree with no experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • Be able to travel to an Arrow office when requested by Arrow leadership.
  • Expect to travel throughout the territory three to four days per week.
