Operations Manager, Mortgage Sub-Servicing Administration

Lead PNC’s Loan Administrator team and oversee mortgage sub-servicing operations. Manage reconciliations, reporting, risk controls, and relationships with Primary Servicers.

Description

  • Lead and develop Loan Administrators on PNC’s Sub-Servicing Administration team.
  • Carry out the operating plan and communicate strategic direction to the operations team.
  • Manage supervisors and individual contributors across functions and sites.
  • Deliver business results and serve as an escalation point.
  • Process and reconcile transactions with varying levels of risk and financial value under established policies and procedures.
  • Work with internal partners to resolve escalations and provide guidance.
  • Coordinate with external customers and third parties to complete transactions and resolve escalated issues.
  • Coach and develop team members.
  • Lead staff meetings and turn strategic direction into tactical operating plans.
  • Advise service partners and customers.
  • Identify, influence, and implement process improvements.
  • Represent the operations group on projects.
  • Create and approve standard operating procedures and recommend policy improvements.
  • Review transactions and reports for exceptions, quality, and compliance.
  • Oversee risk mitigation and business resiliency activities.
  • Confirm procedures are complete and accurate.
  • Oversee external Primary Servicers and coordinate with internal departments.
  • Support payment processing through remittance reports, group inbox monitoring, quarterly reporting reviews, general receipts account reconciliation, and advance request processing.

Requirements

  • Typically, at least five years of related experience.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
  • Related experience or product knowledge relevant to the primary duties.
  • A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Knowledge of accountability, customer solutions, compliance, personal initiative, process improvement, results orientation, risk mitigation strategies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Skills in decision-making, critical thinking, communication, internal resource coordination, operational functions, problem-solving, process management, and standard operating procedures.
  • No degree is required.
  • No certifications or licenses are required.
  • No language assessments are required or preferred.
  • Must be able to work within the PNC Midland footprint.
