Remote Account Manager - United States

Manage retention, renewals, product adoption, and expansion for Nitrogen’s AI-powered financial-advisor SaaS platform. Build trusted customer relationships while identifying growth opportunities and supporting Advisor Direct users.

Description

  • Support Advisor Direct customers across their journey to improve account health, secure renewals, expand partnerships, and generate referrals.
  • Lead value-focused sales conversations with existing customers.
  • Follow established procedures for contract changes, upsells, upgrades, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Identify, prioritize, and complete opportunities to grow assigned accounts.
  • Help develop and deliver the Advisor Direct engagement strategy.
  • Use marketing campaigns to strengthen engagement, product adoption, and account growth.
  • Keep account, contact, and user records accurate in Salesforce.
  • Attend team, cross-functional, product training, and company-wide meetings.
  • Create scalable, one-to-many engagement programs across the customer portfolio.
  • Help advisors build proficiency with Nitrogen products.
  • Recommend relevant training and collaborate with the Coaching team.
  • Identify and close additional annual recurring revenue opportunities.
  • Plan and deliver webinars, office hours, and other customer engagement initiatives.
  • Resolve billing and contract-related customer cases.
  • Take part in call reviews to support ongoing improvement.
  • Submit accurate performance reports on schedule.
  • Communicate customer requests for product enhancements and other feedback.
  • Set priorities for customer escalations and follow standard operating procedures through resolution.
  • Meet customer retention targets.
  • Process renewal rate increases and deliver required customer notices.
  • Retain or recover customers who request cancellation.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience at a technology company with a SaaS subscription model.
  • At least two years in a customer-facing technology role.
  • At least one year using Salesforce daily in a core job function.
  • A college degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to build rapport and serve as a trusted customer partner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Openness to feedback and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-moving, changing environment.
  • Skill in recognizing patterns and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Ability to prioritize work and own responsibilities through completion.
  • Collaborative approach and strong team orientation.
  • Creative, considered approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with advisors, broker-dealers, corporate RIAs, custodians, clearing firms, asset managers, and compliance teams.
  • Experience with Salesforce reports and Google Sheets, Numbers, or Excel.
  • Ability to use data analysis to inform decisions.
