Description

  • Guide onshore and offshore associates.
  • Share daily service level updates.
  • Coordinate unit reporting and metrics with other departments.
  • Recommend corrective actions based on internal and external audit findings.
  • Build and maintain relationships across departments.
  • Set and uphold standards for quality, productivity, and associate conduct.
  • Hold regular team meetings about processing issues, initiatives, performance expectations, and collaborative work.
  • Coach associates and resolve escalated concerns.
  • Spot service trends, performance issues, training needs, and system challenges.
  • Give timely feedback to managers and the people and teams involved.
  • Oversee daily workflow.
  • Contribute to company programs, including disaster recovery tests and recognition initiatives.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities.
  • Contribute to departmental risk initiatives.
  • Lead large administrative projects.
  • Ensure teams follow departmental procedures and functions, and propose changes when needed.
  • Take on other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience, or a strong performance record as a tenured associate.
  • A bachelor’s degree or some post-secondary education.
  • Skill in developing staff to meet performance and professionalism standards.
  • Ability to handle assigned duties with little supervision.
  • A broad view of the business and how it affects other business units.
  • Ability to assess and reduce risk and identify necessary controls.
  • Ability to work responsibly with stakeholders when handling exceptions.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Ability to give feedback in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to manage data and business analysis, including metrics and ad hoc reports.
  • Up-to-date understanding of departmental legal and policy guidelines.
  • Ability to follow departmental procedures and functions.
