HR Enablement Director - Hybrid

Lead USAA’s HR enablement strategy through scalable implementation, organizational readiness, change management, and adoption. Partner across HR centers of expertise, business partners, and practitioner teams to improve execution.

Description

  • Lead strategic HR enablement, readiness, change management, and adoption efforts
  • Translate enterprise people strategies, workforce priorities, and HR programs into scalable implementation plans
  • Create standards, methodologies, and deployment frameworks that support consistent HR execution
  • Direct readiness, communications, training, and adoption strategies for major HR initiatives and transformations
  • Build implementation toolkits, best practices, learning resources, and scalable enablement solutions
  • Equip HR practitioners with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to implement initiatives effectively
  • Align centers of excellence, HR business partners, and practitioner teams around practical, scalable solutions
  • Bring HR business partner and practitioner perspectives into program design and implementation
  • Identify adoption obstacles, execution challenges, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Evaluate and refine enablement approaches using adoption metrics, stakeholder feedback, and operational insights
  • Coordinate collaboration across HR teams to strengthen delivery consistency
  • Identify, measure, monitor, and control business activity risks in accordance with risk and compliance policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant education and/or experience
  • At least eight years of progressive human resources experience
  • Substantial experience as an HR business partner, organizational effectiveness consultant, HR transformation leader, or related HR professional
  • Experience converting enterprise people strategies into scalable solutions that support practitioner effectiveness and business results
  • Experience leading organization-wide HR implementation, readiness, adoption, transformation, or change initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Experience partnering with multiple centers of excellence and practitioner communities to put enterprise HR priorities into practice
  • Experience creating implementation frameworks, deployment methods, communication plans, and enablement resources
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, build alignment, and deliver results in highly matrixed environments without direct authority
  • Experience connecting strategic program owners with field-facing practitioners
  • Experience using adoption metrics, practitioner feedback, and operational insights to advance continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness
  • Expertise in change management, organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, and adoption planning
  • Experience facilitating workshops, readiness reviews, office hours, and stakeholder forums
  • Ability to identify implementation risks, barriers, and support requirements and drive proactive solutions
  • Ability to turn complex HR initiatives into clear implementation plans and actionable guidance
