Customer Service Agent

Description

  • Represent Quality Bicycle Products as a frontline customer service contact.
  • Assist customers by phone, email, and web.
  • Respond to technical and product questions.
  • Enter and manage customer orders.
  • Answer questions about QBP services, websites, catalog items, and related technical topics.
  • Investigate shipping questions and provide answers.
  • Process returns and credits.
  • Coordinate with QBP sales and brand support teams.
  • Use and build proficiency with SAP, the QBP B2B commerce site, CRM, SharePoint, Genesys Cloud, and other organizational tools.
  • Record and maintain customer details and interactions in CRM.
  • Attend meetings for the department.
  • Support new product launches.
  • Continue developing product knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Complete other duties assigned by Customer Service Leadership.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in customer service, sales, a consumer-facing role, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of current bicycle technology and trends.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Ability to stay organized, multitask, and retain information.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and spoken communication skills.
  • Pleasant, attentive communication in writing and conversation.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
  • Typing speed of 25–30 words per minute.
  • Preferred: at least one year of bicycle-industry experience in customer service, operations, mechanics, or sales.
  • Availability Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.
  • For remote work, high-speed internet with at least 50 Mbps download speed.
  • Dedicated workspace with minimal outside noise and distractions.
  • Ability to work extensively by phone and computer.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
