Client Services Agent - Hybrid in Lenexa, Kansas

Support Acumen Fiscal Agent clients with disabilities through enrollment, education, paperwork processing, and issue resolution. Coordinate with employers, program contacts, internal teams, and state stakeholders while maintaining compliance and responsive service.

Description

  • Enroll, educate, and support Acumen clients throughout their service lifecycle
  • Assist employers and employees with enrollment activities
  • Process paperwork and manage electronic communications
  • Enter and maintain accurate data across multiple databases
  • Build relationships with clients, program contacts, and third-party organizations
  • Stay informed about program rules, regulations, and implementation requirements
  • Explain program rules to internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate communication between clients and Acumen departments
  • Research and resolve client inquiries within contractual timeframes
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Manage escalated issues involving client families and state agencies
  • Support program growth through marketing, education, and community outreach strategies
  • Work with internal departments to resolve client and program issues
  • Handle changing call and email volumes effectively
  • Provide customer service by phone and electronic channels
  • Work occasional weekends, weeknights, and holidays when needed
  • Support the company’s compliant cybersecurity practices
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least one year of data-entry experience
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous customer service or client-relations experience
  • Ability to manage changing inbound and outbound call volumes
  • Flexible availability for weekends, weeknights, and holidays
  • Experience using multiple applications at the same time
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests and responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet tools, email, and PDF files
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Ability to support complex clients while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Willingness to obtain required state certifications
  • Ability to travel, including overnight travel, when required by the program
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance when required by the program
  • Secure remote workspace with high-speed internet when applicable
  • Ability to protect confidential information and communicate with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple deadline-driven assignments
