BTS Customer Support Specialist - Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)

Provide software support and user training for ASSA ABLOY customers, partners, and internal teams in an onsite Phoenix role. Resolve and document issues while coordinating with customer care and technical departments.

Description

  • Deliver remote support and software instruction to end users, business partners, and internal personnel
  • Assist customers through phone, email, CRM and ticketing platforms, and remote support sessions
  • Diagnose software problems by applying established procedures and workflows
  • Record troubleshooting activity, solutions, and customer interactions in the ticketing system
  • Investigate reported problems through internal knowledge bases, documentation, and collaboration tools before escalation
  • Pass escalated issues to the appropriate team with thorough summaries, context, and completed troubleshooting steps
  • Explain software capabilities, processes, and recommended usage practices to customers
  • Support customer onboarding and training for newly released software features
  • Recognize recurring problems and enhance internal documentation and knowledge-base content
  • Partner with Customer Care, Development, Training, and Sales departments
  • Handle basic technical troubleshooting across Windows, connectivity, client/server applications, and cloud systems
  • Continue developing technical and industry knowledge while keeping current with software updates and workflows
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent qualification
  • At least three years of experience supporting software users, customers, students, or internal teams
  • Excellent written and spoken communication abilities
  • Background using CRM, help desk, or ticketing platforms
  • Capacity to learn technical processes and apply documented procedures precisely
  • Strong planning, organization, and time-management capabilities
  • Customer support, SaaS support, training, education, implementation, or technical support experience preferred
  • Experience developing documentation, training resources, or knowledge-base articles preferred
  • Familiarity with remote support applications such as LogMeIn, Microsoft Teams, and TeamViewer preferred
  • Basic knowledge of networking, VPN connections, Windows permissions, or client/server systems preferred
  • SQL or database experience is helpful but not mandatory
  • Experience with ERP, construction, manufacturing, or specialty-industry software is beneficial
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, use hands, reach with hands and arms, communicate clearly and effectively, and lift up to 10 pounds
  • Travel expectation of 0% to 10%
