ACA Client Manager - Voya Financial Hybrid

Support employer ACA compliance using Benefitfocus cloud-based benefits software. Guide clients through reporting, education, implementation coordination, and technical support.

Description

  • Create excellent client experiences through clear written and verbal communication while managing routine and unexpected situations
  • Develop expertise in HR administration and Affordable Care Act employer-mandate requirements
  • Join post-implementation calls and maintain accurate documentation for ongoing client service
  • Assist the ACA Implementation Project Manager with implementation activities
  • Teach clients about variable-hour tracking, affordability rules, data exception reports, regulatory updates, IRS Sections 6055 and 6056, and Tango’s ACA Compliance Concierge suite
  • Lead monthly report-review webinars to explain findings, confirm accuracy and understanding, and discuss longer-term challenges or policy changes
  • Provide responsive phone and email assistance to client IT, HR, and Payroll teams throughout the relationship
  • Share industry news, articles, regulatory updates, and software enhancement communications with client teams
  • Work with the technical team to resolve production and software issues
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • At least three years of customer service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including polished email writing and clear phone instructions
  • Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously and collaborate effectively within a team
  • Experience troubleshooting technical problems through quick thinking, independent judgment, and group collaboration
  • Self-directed approach with the ability to learn and retain technology products and procedures while working toward defined metrics
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent activity and uncertainty
  • Strong initiative, intelligence, enthusiasm, and commitment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Industry experience strongly preferred in insurance, benefits administration, benefits consulting, SaaS, healthcare, or BPO
  • Knowledge of ANSI 834 enrollment files is a plus
