Process Associate, GBS Finance Operations – Accounts Receivable
Support billing and accounting for APL Logistics’ global operations, including cargo-release updates and invoice processing. Resolve billing disputes, manage service-level targets, respond to stakeholder queries, and provide team coverage.
विवरण
- Prepare accurate, customized customer statement billings within service-level agreements.
- Record accounting entries accurately and on time.
- Update cheque, amount, release order, and cargo-release details in GFF against HBL within four hours, or within two hours for urgent cases.
- Monitor and clear Freight Cashier and functional mailbox emails each day.
- Resolve billing disputes promptly to prevent collection delays.
- Prepare credit memos, void invoices, and upload invoices.
- Void invoices at the request of origins, collectors, or other stakeholders.
- Retrieve information from systems and share it with stakeholders.
- Respond to and resolve emails on the same day.
- Cover for teammates and the team leader during absences.
- Meet service-level agreements and key performance indicators.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor.
- Train new staff and help the team leader update the DPM in IFS and applications, as well as handle ad hoc tasks.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Diploma, postgraduate diploma, or professional degree in business administration, business management, finance, accountancy, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of related experience in finance and accounts payable.
- Strong analytical skills and accounting knowledge.
- Knowledge of shipping or logistics.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Access, and database querying.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Careful attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- Flexibility to work night shifts.
