- Condense translations to prescribed word limits while preserving their meaning.
- Maintain translation databases in translation management software.
- Perform quality assurance throughout the translation process.
- Use a variety of media and translation software tools.
- Address translation, localization, and cultural issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to deliver translation services.
- Apply feedback and requested revisions whenever feasible.
- Collaborate with fellow translators and report to the project manager.
Talablar
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or linguistics.
- At least four years of professional translation experience.
- Proficiency with translation management system tools and software.
- Knowledge of translation processes, terminology, and localization methods.
- Familiarity with localization guidelines and industry standards.
- Ability to convert written content into a second language.
