Onsite Support Technician, CANECO
Resolve technical issues for customers using ETAP’s electrical engineering software, including CANECO. Provide hardware, network, software, and user support while documenting solutions and improvement opportunities.
Tavsif
- Handle user support requests by phone, email, or in person, from diagnosis through resolution.
- Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and network problems.
- Help users adopt new applications and updates.
- Share software fixes and potential improvements with the Development Department.
- Identify and resolve software failures.
- Manage incidents in ticketing tools such as Salesforce and Azure DevOps.
- Follow up on support requests and deliver solutions promptly.
- Contribute to projects that improve infrastructure and support processes.
- Write procedures, user guides, and Knowledge Base articles.
- Support users as new solutions are introduced.
- Receive, diagnose, and respond to customer requests.
Talablar
- Show patience when responding to user requests, including under stress.
- Listen carefully to users and understand the issues they describe.
- Work collaboratively with technical colleagues and teams across the company.
- Communicate effectively in spoken and written English and French.
- Know electrical systems, including automation and control systems.
- Know NF C 15-100 or NF C 13-200 standards.
- Be familiar with remote access and user support tools.
- Use the Windows operating system proficiently.
- Use office productivity tools, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Know electrical installation sizing and calculation software such as CANECO.
- Pass a comprehensive background check before starting work.
- Provide proof of work authorization if requested as part of the background check.
