Opis

  • Build Omada Health’s actuarial capability and define how it measures, communicates, and prices the economic value of its programs.
  • Develop ROI models for Medicare and government markets, and support Star Ratings analyses and future program studies.
  • Design and price performance guarantees and at-risk terms, including pricing and exposure models, triggers, measurement terms, and actuarial safeguards.
  • Represent actuarial perspectives in finalist meetings, RFPs, and renewals with payers, employers, and benefits consultants.
  • Model and monitor performance guarantee exposure across the customer portfolio, and provide accrual and reserve inputs to Accounting.
  • Evaluate pricing and unit economics, including GLP-1 utilization, pharmacy trends, and medical trends.
  • Create reusable, version-controlled models and document actuarial methods.
  • Build actuarial knowledge across Finance, Strategy, Commercial, and Clinical, and support audit and disclosure reviews.
  • Set actuarial methods independently and assess guarantee soundness; partner through governance on pricing, contract terms, risk acceptance, accounting conclusions, and external claims.
  • Report to the VP of Strategic Finance and collaborate across Finance, Clinical, Commercial, and Strategy.

Zahteve

  • Hold an ASA or FSA designation from the Society of Actuaries in good standing.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a comparable quantitative field.
  • Have at least 10 years of healthcare actuarial experience in Medicare Advantage, government markets, payer or consulting work, or a risk-bearing digital health or provider organization.
  • Bring hands-on experience with medical and pharmacy claims, including matched-cohort and claims-based savings studies that have withstood third-party scrutiny.
  • Have designed or evaluated performance guarantees, shared savings, ROI, or other value-based arrangements, including quantifying downside exposure.
  • Have strong SQL and advanced Excel skills, and be able to independently extract data, build models, and validate results.
  • Have substantial experience using AI in analytical workflows, validating outputs, and handling confidential information appropriately.
  • Be able to present and defend methodology to payer actuaries and analysts, benefits consultants, and employer finance leaders.
  • Demonstrate intellectual honesty, commercial judgment, and clear written communication.
  • Bonus qualifications include FSA and MAAA credentials; knowledge of GLP-1 and pharmacy trend economics or Medicare and government markets; digital health or point solution vendor experience; Python or R skills; and an actuarial consulting background.
