Client Relationship Manager, Retirement Services (Remote - Minnesota)

Ascensus is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to support advisor relationships, resolve escalations, and strengthen retention across retirement plan accounts. The role combines consultative client service, product knowledge, and growth support in a remote Minnesota position.

Descriere

  • Serve as the primary contact for existing large and elite advisor plan clients and their financial advisors
  • Manage plan account and advisor relationships to support effective service, product enhancements, and retention
  • Provide consultative guidance and support as a dedicated client contact
  • Drive plan retention through ownership, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Safeguard and appropriately manage confidential Ascensus and client information
  • Model proactive client service, collaboration, and alignment with organizational values
  • Apply industry expertise to improve satisfaction, retention, and organic growth
  • Build trusted relationships with daily client contacts and C-level decision-makers
  • Take ownership of issues escalated by clients and financial professionals through resolution
  • Represent client needs internally by coordinating with Ascensus departments
  • Assess the book of business for retention opportunities and develop strategies for non-elite advisors
  • Create education and communication plans for assigned accounts
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and educate financial professionals and plan sponsors on products, processes, and services
  • Compile information, monitor communications and escalations, and recommend ways to improve the Ascensus experience
  • Lead or contribute to projects that add value to existing client relationships
  • Evaluate client and financial professional data and conduct outreach, including call campaigns
  • Stay current on partner and proprietary Ascensus products
  • Maintain knowledge of the regulatory, financial, accounting, service, operations, and compliance dimensions of relationship management

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Preferred: at least seven years of experience in retirement services or a related field
  • At least five years of direct client relationship experience in a financial services administration environment
  • Preferred: certification or active pursuit of an industry credential such as ASPPA or CEBS
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Comfort working with substantial autonomy
  • Careful attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Sound business judgment when balancing client priorities with organizational needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to groups
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate meetings with senior-level participants
  • Demonstrated project management capability
  • Willingness to travel as needed
