Lead HR capability, talent programs, M&A integration, and transformation across Backcountry’s multi-brand outdoor retail portfolio.

- Lead and grow HR manager teams across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico
- Establish expectations, coach managers, and build accountability frameworks
- Manage performance reviews, including goal setting, calibration, and follow-through
- Identify performance, talent, and compensation gaps and develop focused solutions
- Create and deliver individual and group training for development, growth, and compliance
- Direct HR integration for acquisitions, covering organizational design, onboarding, policy alignment, and culture
- Advise leaders and stakeholders on transformation and change initiatives through people strategy
- Develop and maintain employee engagement programs across multiple brands
- Report to the Vice President of Human Resources

- More than 10 years of progressive HR experience, including HR business partner experience
- At least 3 years managing people; experience leading global or multi-country teams is preferred
- At least 2 years of learning and development experience creating and delivering training programs
- Proven experience managing HR aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and integration
- Demonstrated success supporting business transformation and change programs
- Experience supporting varied employee groups across corporate, retail, and distribution settings
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across time zones
- Employment is subject to a background check that verifies previous employment dates
