Senior Associate, Business Operations & Strategy — Malaysia Remote

Drive ANZ business operations and strategy for Intellect, coordinating cross-functional priorities, tenders, pipeline reporting, compliance checks, and client go-lives.

Description

  • Translate the ANZ General Manager’s priorities into structured requests for Product, Operations, Clinical, Legal, and Revenue teams, and track delivery through completion.
  • Lead the weekly ANZ-to-HQ status process and escalate decisions to the General Manager.
  • Maintain a current register of ANZ strategic initiatives, including owners, status, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Project-manage the HQ workstream for new client go-lives, covering product configuration, clinical resourcing, and operational setup.
  • Manage 3–5 ANZ initiatives concurrently from initial scope through final outcome.
  • Draft structured Product requirements and identify delivery delays before they create client risks.
  • Analyze competitor proposals and pricing, the 2027 value proposition and pricing strategy, and gaps in market SLAs.
  • Prepare business cases and briefing materials for leadership forums.
  • Keep weekly ANZ HubSpot pipeline data accurate and up to date.
  • Own ANZ inputs for the monthly business review using the regional standard format.
  • Identify pipeline coverage gaps three months ahead of quarter end.
  • Lead Go/No-Go decisions for new tenders and maintain the decision criteria.
  • Manage compliance pre-checks covering insurance, the Fair Jobs Code, data sovereignty, and accreditation.
  • Support the RFP specialist on priority bids and oversee the scope and costs of external bid consultants.
  • Coordinate ANZ people processes, office and operating needs, and the General Manager’s non-commercial administration.

Requirements

  • Bring 3–6 years of experience in management consulting, strategy and operations, business operations, or commercial roles, preferably within a scaling B2B or SaaS company.
  • Demonstrate that you can take an incomplete brief and deliver the initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Have experience influencing senior stakeholders across functions, including making and enforcing a “no” or “not now” decision when necessary.
  • Work effectively through ambiguity by making informed decisions with partial information and adapting as circumstances change.
  • Apply strong commercial and financial skills across pricing, margin, business cases, and pipeline analysis.
  • Use disciplined project-management practices, including registers, cadences, and consistent follow-through.
  • Write clearly and concisely for executive audiences.
  • Have experience with HubSpot or another CRM, along with reporting and dashboard tools.
  • Bring exposure to tenders, procurement, or regulated sectors such as health, insurance, or government.
  • Understand the Australian market, EAP, workplace mental health, or psychosocial risk.
  • Use AI tools confidently and practically to improve speed and effectiveness.
