Remote Account Coordinator, Small Group Benefits

Support producers, account managers, and clients with small-group benefits administration in a remote role. Responsibilities include applications, renewals, proposals, correspondence, client service, and account data maintenance.

Description

  • Assist producers and account managers with new business, renewals, and ongoing client account services
  • Build positive carrier relationships and support clients and their employees through advocacy and continued benefits education
  • Deliver administrative assistance and responsive customer service
  • Prepare census files for proposals and renewal business
  • Process individual and group applications
  • Draft routine correspondence for clients and carriers
  • Respond to client questions about service accounts
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and carrier representatives through high-quality customer service
  • Coordinate internal resources to address clients’ management needs
  • Enter and update complete, accurate account information promptly while following agency management system data standards and data-integrity requirements
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least two years of relevant work experience
  • Willingness to complete supervisor-directed Career Path requirements, including Group 1 licensing
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Customer service proficiency, including effective telephone and listening skills
  • Effective problem-solving and time-management abilities
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment to identify and prioritize key issues quickly
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a strong team environment
  • Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
