National Account Manager - Canada (Remote)

Lead national account growth across Canadian retailers, manufacturers, and providers for Confident Remodels’ home-improvement software platform. Translate partner needs into operational, technical, and strategic execution.

Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve program performance, revenue, gross margin, partner engagement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze account performance against key metrics, service-level expectations, and budget targets to identify gaps, trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with operations and internal teams to create reports, business reviews, and performance communications for external partners.
  • Provide internal stakeholders with monthly updates on account performance, initiative progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned national retailers, manufacturers, and providers, coordinating issue resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong functional knowledge of the Confident Remodels software platform.
  • Understand system workflows, business rules, user roles, data flows, configurations, and dependencies.
  • Connect external partners with internal IT and technical teams by translating business needs into clear requirements and use cases.
  • Assess platform concerns, document issues, and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
  • Understand system integrations and data exchanges with retailer, manufacturer, and provider systems.
  • Monitor platform adoption and usage, identifying opportunities to improve utilization, training, and workflow efficiency.
  • Use reports, dashboards, and system data to identify trends, bottlenecks, adoption challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Communicate system changes, releases, workflow updates, and technology requirements.
  • Manage provider onboarding projects, including go-live schedules, tracking, system configuration, and training.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work related to launches, expansions, system changes, and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and obstacles affecting go-live activities.
  • Develop and refine processes to increase automation, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Manage provider field-support requests, including store additions or removals, coverage changes, contact updates, and training.
  • Maintain documentation for account requirements, workflows, configurations, decisions, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with compliance, permitting, call center, customer solutions, operations, IT, and other functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, project management, sales, information systems, or a related field.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in national account management, strategic account management, program management, business development, SaaS or software-enabled services, or a comparable role.
  • Bilingual French and English proficiency, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and understand software platforms, technology-enabled business processes, and complex operational workflows.
  • Comfort working with software applications, dashboards, reporting tools, and data to manage account performance and support decisions.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical business stakeholders; advanced programming or software development experience is not required.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional demeanor, sound judgment, and strong ownership of outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, including executives and senior leaders.
  • Exceptional organizational and project-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business requirements, partner needs, and priorities.
  • Strong initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work independently in a high-responsibility remote environment.
  • Knowledge of home improvement, installation services, retail, or contractor services is an asset.
  • Experience in SaaS, technology-enabled services, marketplace, or software-platform environments is an asset.
  • English proficiency is required for communication with partners outside Quebec and collaboration with teams whose primary working language is English.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally handle or move materials weighing up to 15 pounds (7 kg).
