IT Help Desk Support Specialist – Seattle Onsite

Provide first-line IT support to Landau Associates employees from the Seattle office. The role covers devices, user accounts, networks, onboarding, and everyday technical troubleshooting.

Description

  • Act as the primary contact for employees who need technical assistance
  • Deliver first-level support by phone, email, chat, and in person
  • Configure, maintain, and deploy laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other end-user equipment
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access to internal systems
  • Teach employees how to use IT tools and resources effectively
  • Refer unresolved or complex problems to the appropriate IT staff or department
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including account creation, equipment setup, and onboarding meetings
  • Provide responsive customer service focused on user satisfaction
  • Contribute to organization-wide IT projects, initiatives, and process improvements

Requirements

  • Bring 1–2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support position
  • Know the fundamentals of Windows and mobile operating systems
  • Have experience with Office 365 and remote support tools
  • Understand basic networking concepts and troubleshooting methods
  • Communicate clearly and approach problems methodically
  • Work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds when required
  • Understand cloud computing concepts, including off-site storage and backups
  • Understand VPNs and secure remote connections; Cisco experience is a plus
  • An associate degree in IT, computer science, or a related field is preferred but not required
