Description

  • Source and engage both active and passive candidates
  • Monitor developments and shifts in the talent market
  • Serve as an initial contact for applicants and employee referrals
  • Counsel business leaders on effective hiring practices
  • Continue professional development while coaching leaders and interviewers on structured, high-quality interviewing
  • Help stakeholders create compelling, legally compliant job descriptions
  • Design interview panels and lead post-interview debriefs
  • Deliver strong, well-qualified hires
  • Create and maintain engaged talent pipelines
  • Work with hiring managers on talent strategy from workforce planning through hiring and onboarding
  • Build knowledge of the business and how engineering teams contribute to Cisco’s long-term objectives
  • Apply recruiting data to guide decisions and provide business recommendations

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 3 or more years supporting technical or engineering hiring
  • At least 2 years supporting hiring and employment compliance in a regulated industry, government-contractor setting, or complex corporate organization
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence tools to streamline work
  • Preferred: At least 2 years recruiting artificial intelligence professionals or related talent in machine learning, data science, AI research, or AI infrastructure optimization
  • Preferred: Experience recruiting for strategic operations positions in product or sales organizations
  • Preferred: Strong knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity laws
  • Preferred: Experience handling immigration matters within recruiting
  • Preferred: Experience persuading business leaders to adopt new approaches and test alternative talent acquisition methods
  • Preferred: Experience using data to assess trends and uncover hiring obstacles
  • Preferred: Current understanding of evolving developments in artificial intelligence
  • Preferred: Experience in data-focused recruiting operations, including monitoring desk and requisition workloads and using metrics to influence business leaders
