Client Support Coordinator – Virtual Business Centre (Hybrid, Canada)

Support Canadian entrepreneurs through BDC’s Virtual Business Centre by managing bilingual inquiries, administrative processes, documentation, and client follow-ups in a hybrid role.

Description

  • Serve Virtual Business Centre clients by answering routine questions and directing complex matters to the appropriate team members
  • Respond to clients promptly and professionally in accordance with established policies, procedures, and processes
  • Handle administrative work in a queue management system, including preparing correspondence using defined procedures
  • Keep client records and documentation accurate while completing all required follow-ups
  • Organize competing administrative priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting while maintaining service standards
  • Remain informed about updates to policies, standardized procedures, and operational processes
  • Work effectively as part of a virtual team while independently managing assigned responsibilities

Requirements

  • College diploma in Office Administration or a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • At least three years of experience in an administrative position
  • Strong spoken and written French and English skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize multiple administrative responsibilities
  • Ability to keep information accurate, manage documentation, and complete follow-up activities
  • Proven client service skills, including active listening and problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a virtual team
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently
  • Ability to adjust to changes in policies, procedures, processes, and work activities
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setting, both in the office and virtually
