Junior Field Service Customer Engineer – BCX, Kramerville
Junior Field Service Customer Engineer supporting BCX clients with hardware installations, removals, maintenance, and remote diagnostics in an onsite role. The position focuses on configuration management, service-level delivery, and technician support.
विवरण
- Provide routine hardware servicing and remote diagnostics under supervision
- Meet agreed service levels for contracted clients
- Maintain configuration records, including the CMDB
- Operate and manage installed hardware and software
- Complete procedures in line with service-level agreements and requirements
- Use approved plans and instructions to install or remove hardware and software
- Verify equipment against installation and removal instructions
- Install and remove hardware and software with approved tools, instructions, and standards
- Assist technicians by phone using remote tools and customer applications such as Remedy
- Support achievement of SLA targets
- Report to the Ops Manager: Onsite Operations (M/S6)
आवश्यकताएँ
- NQF 4 qualification or Grade 12 National Diploma
- At least two years of experience servicing and installing hardware solutions in a retail environment
- CompTIA certification
- Microsoft Systems Associate or Engineer certification, such as MCSA or MCSE
- Linux LPIC 1 and 2, Certified Linux Administrator, or CompTIA Linux+ certification
- Willingness to travel locally
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, both required
- Availability to work extended or long hours when necessary
