Collections Representative – Canon Financial Services (Hybrid, New Jersey)
Manage overdue accounts and customer disputes for Canon Financial Services. Process account adjustments, reconciliations, refunds, and delinquency resolutions.
Tavsif
- Assist customers with collection matters and account questions.
- Process refunds, account adjustments, credit memos, and small-balance write-offs.
- Track and maintain assigned accounts.
- Respond to customer calls and reconcile account discrepancies and short payments.
- Build working relationships with customers, dealers, Canon entities, and colleagues.
- Resolve issues accurately and promptly, escalating them when needed.
- Address delinquencies before they reach 90 days and reduce overdue balances across assigned accounts.
- Resolve disputes related to insurance, asset use, sales tax, equipment, property tax, and monetary adjustments.
- Conduct skip tracing and reconcile accounts.
- Record case activity in core systems and maintain contact and virtual account databases.
- Deliver professional, courteous, prompt, and accurate service in keeping with Canon’s brand standards.
- Process customer transactions efficiently while communicating and collaborating in real time.
- Make timely decisions based on facts to support a strong customer service experience.
- Complete additional projects as assigned by management.
Talablar
- At least one year of collections or customer service experience is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Vocational training or coursework in a related area is an advantage.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively with a team and across departments.
- Analytical problem-solving ability and basic math skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Experience using Salesforce, Unified Desktop, and LeaseWave.
- Ability to manage customers with multiple schedules.
