Tavsif

  • Oversee billing for multiple Shield portfolio companies, including managed services, projects, hardware, and other client invoices
  • Verify billing data for completeness, accuracy, contract compliance, and on-time invoice issuance
  • Track receivables aging, follow up on overdue balances, resolve discrepancies, and support collection efforts
  • Coordinate with portfolio-company teams to collect billing inputs, clarify account information, and issue accurate invoices promptly
  • Clean, reconcile, and enhance historical billing data in PSA and related systems
  • Keep NetSuite customer records accurate and up to date
  • Establish, document, and roll out consistent billing and accounts receivable practices across portfolio companies
  • Find ways to apply AI, automation, and other technology to limit manual work, improve data quality, and expand operational capacity
  • Work with Accounting to ensure billing activity receives the proper accounting treatment
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives as business priorities evolve
  • Maintain billing documentation and reporting while communicating with internal stakeholders and portfolio-company teams

Talablar

  • At least three years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, collections, accounting operations, or a related finance function
  • Background handling high-volume invoicing and investigating billing discrepancies
  • Working knowledge of receivables aging, collection follow-up, and payment reconciliation
  • Experience using a PSA, ERP, accounting, or billing system
  • Experience with MSP platforms such as ConnectWise, Autotask, or HaloPSA is strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and confidence working with detailed financial information
  • Interest in applying AI and automation tools to streamline processes and reduce manual work
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of solving problems effectively
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and businesses
  • Experience in an MSP, multi-entity, private-equity-backed, or rapidly growing organization is advantageous
