DNAstack
DNAstack
DNAstack builds Omics AI, a standards-compliant SaaS platform for discovering, sharing, and analyzing genomic and health data across distributed research networks. Its federated approach lets data custodians make sensitive datasets available for AI-powered analysis without bringing them into a central repository, while supporting privacy, security, and GA4GH standards. The platform is used in collaborations spanning pandemic surveillance, neuroscience, rare disease, and oncology. DNAstack is a software company founded in 2014, with a team of 11–50 employees.

Bioinformatics Customer Success Specialist

Support customers using DNAstack’s precision medicine data-sharing platform, from genomic pipeline operations and quality checks to onboarding and technical troubleshooting.

Opis

  • Act as the main technical contact for customer tickets, partner questions, and data delivery requests.
  • Investigate and resolve failed secondary and tertiary pipeline runs, annotation or sorting defects, and cloud access issues.
  • Trace missing variants, control sample discrepancies, and runtime delays to their root causes, then explain the findings to customers.
  • Turn recurring issues into knowledge-base content, runbooks, and FAQs.
  • Monitor production workflows and dataset deployments on Google Cloud Platform and AWS.
  • Set up and perform input and output quality checks, covering sample identity, coverage, and variant-level metrics.
  • Validate pipeline and platform releases with regression tests and reference resources such as GIAB.
  • Forecast and track workflow compute expenses across cloud providers.
  • Record incidents and follow engineering fixes through to resolution.
  • Update pipeline dependencies and revalidate the complete workflow.
  • Prepare customer onboarding by checking target capture files, metadata sheets, and sample identifiers.
  • Submit, monitor, and confirm sample runs and reanalyses across customer accounts.
  • Re-index, reload, and verify dataset nodes across deployment environments.
  • Produce tailored data extracts, such as BAM slices, collection-level VCFs, and targeted TSV files.
  • Prepare and quality-check structural variant, short tandem repeat, and methylation results for partner delivery.
  • Work with Business Development on demonstration datasets, proofs of concept, and compute cost estimates.
  • Share organized customer feedback with product and engineering teams to inform the roadmap.
  • Compare variant callers and pipeline settings through benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with the Staff Bioinformatician on exploratory features and take part in the internal bioinformatics journal club.
