- Deliver customer support by phone, email, and chat in a contact center
- Resolve service issues under close supervision using established procedures
- Act as Sentry customers’ initial telephone contact
- Improve the customer experience by removing friction and simplifying processes
- Evaluate customer needs and take appropriate action to fulfill requests
- Build positive relationships that strengthen customer confidence, loyalty, and retention
- Provide prompt service that meets or exceeds defined standards
- Handle high call volumes for an assigned line of business
- Locate, provide, or obtain required information and documentation
- Explain the appropriate next steps for claims
- Answer questions and route or transfer calls when needed
- Enter information to initiate claims
- Use multiple systems and technologies to research, collect, and document information
- Resolve service situations accurately for insureds and customers
- Record and file details from every call or electronic request in the correct system
- Process loss information, submitted documentation, payments, and policy changes

- Clear and accurate verbal and written communication skills
